COMMUNICATION
I find it easy to work with and amongst all kinds of people, knowing when to advise, when to listen, when to encourage, and when to compromise. I find myself delighted by the unexpected friendships I create and interesting conversations to be had in these creative and cooperative environments.
PROBLEM SOLVING
I have always been intuitive when it comes to puzzle-solving. I relish in the challenge of finding effective solutions to elusive and tricky problems, and enjoying seeking better ways for my games to run
TEAMWORK
My studies at university have prepared me to work effectively in a team utilising agile practises with Trello's website and daily scrum meetings. During my last year I have interchanged the role of scrum master with a colleague. My projects have been collaborative works with artists, writers, designers, and programmers alike. I’ve learnt to be confident in my proficiencies and trust in the expertise of my teammates, ebbing conflicts of ideas through open communication and respect.
DEPENDABILITY
I’m passionate about creating games, and I care about being a part of an effective and capable team. I’m a reliable and dedicated worker, and as I begin my career in this Industry, I’m committed to proving myself as such.
During my course, we have been assigned multiple briefs at once and expected to work alongside students from other disiplines. As a result, I have developed my time management skills and ability to build and be a part of a productive creative team.
This website is one such project. Alongside this website, I am working on a personal project (the development of a mobile game, which you can find further information on here) and as a part of a team of other students to develop a VR game, in which I have taken the role of scrum master. This role requires me to keep track of everyone's work and plan meetings to update the group.
